I have always been very intrigued by Korean skincare. You must have heard the hype on Korean skin care just as I have but with all the serums, face masks, essences available in the market and so many different lines, it’s quite hard to choose what you should buy and what would work.
So a month ago, when Saranghae (which means “I love you” in Korean 😊) reached out to review their award-winning Korean 5-step anti-aging skin care routine I was beyond excited. I had heard about Saranghae from a lot of Instagram bloggers and v-bloggers who have these products in their catalog and on their stories. I looked up online to read more about them and their unique ingredients and after a few email exchanges, I had the delivery at my doorstep.
Saranghae is an award-winning Korean 5 Step Anti-Aging skin care routine that heals, regenerates and protects your skin. Saranghae’s focus on natural ingredients, highly effective products, and excellence in customer service has helped them become the fastest growing Korean skin care brand in the United States.

The first thing I noticed and absolutely love about these products is that its a 5 step routine, unlike the other K-beauty lines that include 10-steps routine which for me as a full time working mom is a little too much to incorporate in my daily regime.
My main concerns with my skin are breakouts and then hyper-pigmentation caused after so I was definitely very careful in trying any skin care product. I have been using these products for over a month now and so heres my Saranghae love story and a quick review.
Step1: Saranghae Nourishing & Moisturizing Oil + Foam Cleanser
Ok, so when I read this is an oil cleanser I was definitely eerie at first for fear of breakouts but to my surprise, it worked just great. I wash my face in the morning and before bedtime and noticed the formula is quite unique, it provides makeup removal and deep pore cleanser and keeps the moisture on the skin in check an doesn’t leave it dry
Step 2: Saranghae Deep Radiance Essence + Serum
I don’t remember the last time I had tried a serum so would say it really is my first time ever trying any serum. Serums are supposed to efficiently heal, protect & regenerate your skin and balance your skin’s hydrogen (pH) levels to prevent an inflammation or breakouts. They say to use it every day but it made my skin a bit oily and so applied it every other day in my night time routine and that kept the balance. Again, I was a little concerned about breaking out so changed the regime to what would work for my skin and I haven’t had any breakouts or redness using it. Instead my skin feels fresh and tighter.
Step 3: Saranghae Firm & Lift Cellular Regeneration Cream
This cream has been my absolute favorite as it moisturizes the skin and yet doesn’t make it oily. I have noticed my makeup stays put together and doesn’t oxidizes or become oily by end of the day. If used correctly and consistently you should see improvements in your problem areas like age spots, fine lines, just in a month of using it I see significant changes and using it consistently will give promising results for a long term.
Step 4: Saranghae Firm & Lift Cellular Regeneration Cream
My struggle with dark circles and fine lines under the eyes – oh yes, always! Again, I would say a month of use is too early to say but I have definitely seen a huge improvement, under eye area looks much brighter than before. It is incredibly smooth, soft and luxurious and applying my concealer has become much easier than before and it stays through the day.
Step 5: Saranghae Firm & Lift Cellular Regeneration Cream
I love sheet masks, I don’t really get the time for facials or spa’s but I buy tons of sheet masks from drug stores or beauty stores and apply once in while or definitely before a special occasion. So Saranghae claims these sheet masks are like a vacation for your skin, I have used it about 3 times now and it really is a vacation for your skin. Make sure you take the time out and relax when you apply it as you have to leave it on for about 15- 20 min. These masks give you instant results and breathtaking smooth finish. Do not rinse your face after and just rub what remains after you take the mask off. I also applied makeup right after and it just added a great magical glow and a finish to my makeup.
PROS: So flash forward, one month later I am especially loving the creams and masks. They leave my skin so hydrated, smooth and clear. Saranghae doesn’t conduct animal testing nor do they use parabens or heavy metals so for me that’s definitely a plus. The formula is developed in South Korea but is packed and shipped from FDA approved laboratories and that’s an extra assurance of the quality of the products.
They sell a variety of bundles so you don’t have to follow the 5-step routine and can customize according to your skin. If I had to choose, the best one is Saranghae Essentials Bundle which comes with the cleanser moisturizing cream and the eye cream and you can check all their bundles on their website here
CONS: One thing that I could think of personally is adding a toner to the bundle. Toner works great to re-hydrate your skin after using so many products and also keeps the pH balance in check. Some of the toners I’d recommend adding to this bundle is Vitamin E Hydrating Toner or Murad Essential C-Toner(affiliate links) and reviewed here
